​Indonesian cuisine is gaining recognition worldwide. Delicacies such as rendang, fried rice, and satay are featured on well-known foodie lists as some of the most delicious dishes in the world (CNN Indonesia, 2022). Representing Indonesian delicacies in London are Toba and Bija, two establishments located in the heart of the city.

Toba is a fine dining restaurant located at St. James's Market in Piccadilly, London, offering the rich flavors of authentic Indonesian cuisine. Situated next to it is the newly opened Bija, an Indonesian specialty coffee shop. Bija focuses on serving Indonesian coffee made from authentic beans, such as Sumatran Mandheling, Sumatran Lintong, and Old Brown from Java. As Toba's sister restaurant, Bija further introduces the essence of Indonesian culinary traditions to the people of London.
